Insecto microscópico, artrópodo (arácnidos). Se encuentran en el polvo doméstico, productor de problemas alérgicos.
<(F): Acarien: sont de minuscules animaux, visibles au microscope, cousins des insectes et des crustacés (arthropodes). Ceux trouvés dans les poussières de maison sont les plus allergisants. Ils se nourrissent de squames humaines, très répandues dans les matelas, oreillers et moquettes. Leur croissance est maximale en milieu humide et chaud. En milieu plus sec, ils se dessèchent et meurent.

Those found in house dust are the most allergenic. They feed on human dander, widespread in mattresses, pillows and carpets. Their growth is maximum in a humid and hot environment.
