AMELOBLASTOMA

 
   Tumor que se desarrolla de los restos epiteliales paradentales del órgano del esmalte. Es un tumor raro, muy agresivo. No suele producir metástasis.
   Sinónimos: adamantoma, adamantinoma.
 
   <(F): Adamantinome: lésion du type tumoral de survenue rare le plus souvent se localisant au tibia et dont l'origine n'est pas connue avec précision. L'adamantinome peut devenir malin (évolution cancéreuse).
 
   <(Ing): Adamantinoma, ameloblastoma: is a rare tumor. The tumor occurs almost exclusively in the long bones; tumors in the tibia account for more than 80% of cases. The diaphyseal region is the area most commonly affected.
