AMBLIOPÍA

 
 
   Disminución de la agudeza visual sin ninguna alteración aparente del ojo.
   Sinónimos: ojo perezoso u ojo vago.
 
   <(A.): Amblyopie: sehschwäche eines oder seltener beider Augen, die auf einer unzureichenden Entwicklung des Sehsystems während der frühen Kindheit beruht. Das Ergebnis ist eine Verminderung der Sehschärfe, die nicht oder zumindest nicht ausreichend durch organische Fehler erklärt werden kann, und die auch bei optimaler optischer Korrektur mit Brille oder Kontaktlinsen fortbesteht.
 
   <(F.): Amblyopie: synonyme de mal-voyance fonctionnelle : elle correspond à une baisse de l’acuité visuelle sans lésion organique de l’œil, mais par un mécanisme cérébral de neutralisation des images reçues par l’œil amblyope.
