CROMATINA

 
   Sustancia que forma un cromosoma y consiste en la combinación de ADN con proteínas. El ADN lleva consigo las instrucciones genéticas de la célula. Respecto a las proteínas, la mayoría de las que componen la cromatina son las histonas, la cuales ayudan a empaquetar el ADN en una forma compacta que cabe dentro del núcleo célula.

Was die Proteine betrifft, so sind die meisten Proteine, aus denen das Chromatin besteht, Histone, die dazu beitragen, die DNA in eine kompakte Form zu bringen, die in den Zellkern passt.
