ESPACIO LATEROFARINGEO

 

 

   Espacio celuloso que rodea cada lado las paredes laterales de la faringe.
   Sinónimos: espacio parafaríngeo, espacio laterofaríngeo superior, espacio laterofaringeo cefálico, espacio máxilo-faríngeo.
 
   <(A): Parapharyngealraum: Dies ist eine wichtige vertikale Straße, die sich von der Schädelbasis bis zum Zungenbein erstreckt. Tumore, die entlang des pharyngealen Schleimhautraums entstehen können, wie z.B. Plattenepithelkarzinome der Fossa tonsilaris, können sich in die nächst tiefere Schicht ausbreiten, die oft der Parapharyngealraum ist. Einmal im Parapharyngealraum angekommen, kann er sich sehr schnell in vertikaler Richtung ausbreiten. Der Parapharyngealraum enthält vor allem Fett, Äste der Trigeminusnerven und die Venen der Vena pterygoideus.
 
   <(F): Espace parapharyngé: est une terme ambigu car il recouvre, selon les auteurs, des espaces anatomiques différents. Tantôt il désigne l'ensemble de l'espace latéropharyngé tantôt il se limite à l'espace préstylien. Par contre, les termes d'espace pré et rétrostylien sont sans ambiguïté.
 
   <(Ing): Parapharyngeal Space: this is an important vertical highway which extends from the skull base to the hyoid bone. Tumors that may arise along the pharyngeal mucosal space such as squamous cell cancer of the tonsilar fossa, can spread to the next deeper layer which is often the parapharyngeal space. Once in the parapharyngeal space, it can spread in a vertical manner very quickly. The parapharyngeal space contains primarily fat, branches of the trigeminal nerves, and the pterygoid veins.
