Fossa subarcuata: hendidura estrecha situada en la pared póstero-superior del peñasco o cara cerebelosa, por encima y por detrás del orificio del CAI y por debajo de la eminencia arcuata, está ocupada por la dura medre y por ella transita una vena. Sinónimos: fosa subarcuata.
