MITOSIS.

 
   División indirecta de las células germinativas y otras, que consiste en la separación ordenada de los cromosomas, duplicados previamente para forma dos núcleos hijos.
 
  <(A.): Mitose: der übliche Prozess der somatischen Reproduktion von Zellen, der aus einer Sequenz von Modifikationen des Zellkerns (Prophase, Prometaphase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase) besteht, die zur Bildung von zwei Tochterzellen mit exakt dem gleichen Chromosomen- und Kern-DNA-Gehalt wie der der ursprünglichen Zelle führen.
 
   <(F.): Mitose: etape de la division cellulaire correspondant à la division du noyau, chez les cellules non sexuelles. Lors de ce phénomène, il y a réplication de l'ADN (des chromosomes), permettant ainsi aux cellules filles d'avoir une copie du jeu de chromosomes de la cellule mère.
 
  <(In.): Mitosis: the usual process of somatic reproduction of cells consisting of a sequence of modifications of the nucleus (prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase) that result in the formation of two daughter cells with exactly the same chromosome and nuclear DNA content as that of the original cell.
