NERVIO LARÍNGEO EXTERNO.

   Ramus externus nervus laryngei superioris: ramo externo del nervio laríngeo superior que inerva el músculo cricotiroideo, su contracción tensa las cuerdas vocales. Tras desprenderse del laríngeo superior se dirige hacia abajo próximo al borde posterior del cartílago tiroides hasta la membrana cricotiroidea inervando motoramente al músculo cicotiroideo. Después atraviesa la membrana cricotiroidea y el cono elástico para inervar sensitivamente la mucosa del ventrículo laríngeo y del espacio subglótico.
 
   <(A.): Nervus laryngeus externus: äußerer Ast des oberen Kehlkopfnervs, der den Krikothyreoid-Muskel innerviert; seine Kontraktion strafft die Stimmbänder. Nach der Abtrennung vom oberen Kehlkopf zieht er in der Nähe des hinteren Schildknorpels zur Krikothyreoidea hinunter und innerviert motorisch den Krikothyreoideamus. Anschließend überquert er die Krikothyroidmembran und den elastischen Kegel, um die Schleimhaut des Kehlkopfventrikels und den subglottischen Raum sensibel zu innervieren.
 
   <(F): Nerf laryngé externe: branche externe du nerf laryngé supérieur qui innerve le muscle cricothyroïdien, sa contraction resserre les cordes vocales. Après s'être détaché de la partie supérieure du larynx, il descend près du bord arrière du cartilage thyroïdien jusqu'à la membrane cricothyroïdienne, innervant ainsi le muscle cycothyroïdien de façon motrice. Elle traverse ensuite la membrane cricothyroïdienne et le cône élastique pour innerver sensiblement la muqueuse du ventricule laryngé et l'espace sous-glottique.
 
   <(In.): External laryngeal nerve; external branch of the upper laryngeal nerve that innervates the cricothyroid muscle, its contraction tightens the vocal cords. After detaching from the upper laryngeal it goes down near the rear edge of the thyroid cartilage to the cricothyroid membrane, motorically innervating the cycothyroid muscle. It then crosses the cricothyroid membrane and the elastic cone to sensibly innervate the mucosa of the laryngeal ventricle and the subglottic space.
