NERVIO CIGOMATICO-TEMPORAL

 
   El nervio cigomático penetra en la órbita a través de la hendidura esfenoidal y una vez en la órbita se divide en zigomático-temporal y cigomático-facial. El zigomático temporal es un nervio sensitivo que recoge la sensibilidad cutranea al lado de la frente.
 
   <(A.): Nervus zygomaticotemporalis: Der Nervus zygomaticus entspringt aus dem Nervus zygomaticofacialis und dem Nervus zygomaticotemporalis. Der Nervus zygomaticotemporalis leitet Informationen von der seitlichen Wange nach hinten zum Jochbeinfortsatz. Dieser Nerv tritt an der lateralen Seite der Orbita als einer der Endäste des Nervus zygomaticus aus, der seinerseits ein Ast der maxillären Abteilung des Nervus trigeminus ist. Er verläuft am inferolateralen Winkel der Orbita, wo er einen Ast des Nervus lacrimalis abgibt, und tritt dann durch den Jochbeinkanal ein, um die Fossa temporalis zu erreichen. In dieser Fossa verläuft er zwischen dem Jochbein und dem Temporalis und zerteilt die Fascia temporalis oberhalb des Jochbogens, um die Haut der Schläfe oder der Schläfenregion zu versorgen.
 
   <(F.): Nerf zygomatico-temporal: le nerf zygomatique se divise, en entrant dans l'orbite, en zygomatico-temporal et zygomatico-facial pour la sensibilité de la conjonctive et de la peau des paupières dans leur portion latérale. Le zygomatico-temporal sort de l'os zygomatique par un petit foramen et innervera la partie antérieure de la tempe.
 
   <(In.): Zygomaticotemporal nerve: the zygomatic nerve arises from the zygomaticofacial nerve and zygomaticotemporal nerve. The zygomaticotemporal nerve carries information from the lateral cheek posterior to the zygomatic process. This nerve is given off by at the lateral aspect of the orbit as one of the terminal branches of the zygomatic nerve, which is itself a branch of the maxillary division of the trigeminal nerve. It passes on the inferolateral angle of the orbit  where it gives a branch to the lacrimal nerve and then enters through the zygomatic bone canal to reach the temporal fossa. At this fossa it passes between the zygomatic bone and the temporalis  and pieces the temporal fascia, above the zygomatic arch  to supply the skin of temple or temporal region.
