Tumor odontógénico mixto raro, formado por células epiteliales y mesenquimales neoplásicas que pueden diferenciarse en células capaces de producir sustancias de dientes calcificados. Sinónimos: Adamantodontoma, tumor odontogénico mixto calcificado, odontoma ameloblástico.

<(F.): Améloblastome: tumeur des maxillaires, située la plupart du temps dans la région des molaires et sur le maxillaire inférieur, branche montante. L'améloblastome détruit la gencive et l'os. Son évolution peut être bénigne, cas le plus fréquent ou maligne. L'affection est récidivante, et la chirurgie constitue souvent le meilleur moyen d'y mettre un terme.
