PAPILOMA

    Tumor mayormente benigno del epitelio plano provocado por el  virus papiloma humano (VPH), es considerado una infección de transmisión sexual adquirido tanto por el hombre como por la mujer. Término general para neoformaciones de piel y mucosa.
 
   <(A.):Papillom: ggutartiger epithelialer Tumor plattenepithelialer Differenzierung. Grundsätzlich kann es an allen plattenepithelialen Schleimhäuten vorkommen.
 
   <(F.):Papillome: tumeur bénigne le plus souvent étendue et localisée sur la peau. Il s’agit d’une dermatose (maladie de peau) qui survient à la suite d’une infection par un virus appelé papilloma virus humain (HPV). Le papillome peut également se rencontrer au niveau des muqueuses c’est-à-dire la couche des cellules qui recouvrent l’intérieur des organes creux. Le papillome se caractérise par un développement important des papilles du derme.
 
   <(Ing.): Papilloma: it refers to a benign epithelial tumor growing exophytically (outwardly projecting) in finger-like fronds. In this context papilla refers to the projection created by the tumor, not a tumor on an already existing papilla (such as the nipple).
