PAPERAS

 

   Infección viral aguda generalizada que afecta a los niños y a los adultos jóvenes. Comienza con somnolencia, fiebre y dolor en el ángulo de la mandíbula que se acentúa al masticar.
 
   <(A.): Mumps: parotitis epidemica, Salivitis epidemica ist eine ansteckende Virusinfektion, welche die Speicheldrüsen und andere Organe befällt. Neben Kindern können sich auch empfängliche Erwachsene infizieren.
 
   <(F.): Parotidite virale: les oreillons  ou encore parotidite ourlienne est une maladie virale infantile humaine atteignant principalement les glandes salivaires situées en avant des oreilles ainsi que le tissu nerveux.
 
   <(Ing.): Mumps: painful swelling of the salivary glands (classically the parotid gland) is the most typical presentation. The symptoms are generally not severe in children. The disease is generally self-limiting, running its course before receding, with no specific treatment apart from controlling the symptoms with pain medication.
