La 1ª bolsa del aparato branquial forma el canal tubo-timpánico de Kölliker que es un receso endodérmico tubular que se invagina en el mesodermo circundante que crece en dirección al hueso temporal al que se incorpora para formar el revestimiento del espacio del oído medio, sus anexos mastoideos y la superficie interna de la membrana timpánica (endodermo).

<(A.): Erster Verzweigungsbeutel: Der erste Beutel des Kiemenapparats bildet den Kölliker-Tubo-Tympanon-Kanal, eine röhrenförmige endodermale Vertiefung, die in das umgebende Mesoderm eindringt, das in Richtung Schläfenbein wächst, in das es zur Auskleidung des Mittelohrraums, seiner Warzenfortsätze und der Innenfläche des Trommelfells (Endoderm) einwächst.

<(In): First branchial pouch: the first bag of the gill apparatus forms the Kölliker tubo-tympanic canal, which is a tubular endodermal recess that invaginates into the surrounding mesoderm which grows towards the temporal bone into which it is incorporated to form the lining of the middle ear space, its mastoid attachments and the inner surface of the tympanic membrane (endoderm).
