Conducto cilíndrico, elástico, gelatinoso y membranoso, situado en la parte inferior del cuello y que conecta la laringe con el pulmón.

   <(F.): Trachée: conduit fibro-cartilagineux qui fait suite au larynx, situé en avant de l’œsophage, et se terminant dans le thorax, au niveau de la cinquième vertèbre thoracique, par deux branches de bifurcation, les bronches-souches. La trachée conduit l’air des voies aériennes supérieures vers les bronches et les poumons.
