ABSCESO PERIAMIGDALINO

 
   Colección purulenta en el espacio periamigdalino, entre la cápsula fibrosa de la amígdala palatina y las fibras horizontales del músculo constrictor superior de la faringe y las verticales del palatofaríngeo, espacio que en condiciones normales está ocupado por un tejido conectivo de disposición laxa. Se produce como complicación de una amigdalitis aguda. Puede extenderse al espacio retrofaríngeo.
 
   <(A): Peritonsillarabszess: Eitrige Ansammlung im peritonsillären Raum, zwischen der faserigen Kapsel der Gaumenmandel und den horizontalen Fasern des Musculus constrictor superior pharyngeus und den vertikalen Fasern des Musculus palatopharyngeus, ein Raum, der unter normalen Bedingungen von einem laxen Bindegewebe besetzt ist. Sie tritt als Komplikation einer akuten Tonsillitis auf. Sie kann sich bis in den Retropharyngealraum erstrecken.
 
    <(F): Abcès périamygdalien, abcès péritonsillaire: collection purulente dans l'espace péri-amygdalien, entre la capsule fibreuse de l'amygdale palatine et les fibres horizontales du muscle constricteur supérieur du pharynx et les fibres verticales du muscle palatopharyngien, un espace qui, dans des conditions normales, est occupé par un tissu conjonctif laxiste. Elle survient comme une complication de l'amygdalite aiguë. Elle peut s'étendre à l'espace rétropharyngé.
 
   <(Ing): Peritonsillar abscess: purulent collection in the peritonsillar space, between the fibrous capsule of the palatine tonsil and the horizontal fibers of the superior pharyngeal constrictor muscle and the vertical fibers of the palatopharyngeus, a space that under normal conditions is occupied by a lax connective tissue. It occurs as a complication of acute tonsillitis. It may extend to the retropharyngeal space.
