Deformidad de los dedos en ojal, la articulación media del dedo se incurva hacia dentro (hacia la palma) en una posición fija y la articulación más externa del dedo se incurva excesivamente hacia fuera (alejándose de la palma). Este trastorno casi siempre está causado por la artritis reumatoide, pero también puede producirse por lesiones (como cortes profundos, luxaciones o fracturas) o artrosis. También se conoce como deformidad en boutonnière.

<(F.): Déformation en boutonnière: la déformation en boutonnière se caractérise par l’hyper-flexion (courbure vers la paume) de l’articulation centrale du doigt et l’hyper-extension (courbure vers le haut) de l’articulation distale. Cette affection résulte, le plus souvent, d’une polyarthrite rhumatoïde, mais peut également résulter d’une lésion (comme une coupure profonde, une luxation d’articulations ou une fracture) ou d’une arthrose.
