GANGRENA

   Muerte del tejido causada por el estrechamiento de las arterias, generalmente del pie, que se torna frío, pálido y adormecido.
 
   <(A.):Gangrän: der Begriff bezeichnet man eine Gewebs-Nekrose, meist infolge von Blutunterversorgung, bei der das betroffene Gewebe durch Verwesung und Autolyse (Selbstverdauung) zerfällt und sich als Folge von Hämoglobin-Abbau verfärbt.
 
   <(F.): Gangrène: necrose des tissus. Elle est causée par une obstruction artérielle par embolie, choc, infection ou par l’exposition à un froid intense. Son origine est le plus souvent liée à l’interruption prolongée ou au ralentissement extrême de l’irrigation sanguine.
 
   <(Ing.): Gangrene: serious and potentially life-threatening condition that arises when a considerable mass of body tissue dies (necrosis). This may occur after an injury or infection, or in people suffering from any chronic health problem affecting blood circulation. The prime cause of gangrene is reduced blood supply to the affected tissues, which results in cell death.
