Pequeña masa ganglionar que presenta en su trayecto la rama vestibular del nervio coclear. Esta rama vestibular se desprende del nervio coclear en el fondo del conducto auditivo interno y se dirige al laberinto posterior siendo portadora de ramos eferentes vestibulares.
