NERVIO ETMOIDAL ANTERIOR

 
  Nervus ethmoidalis anterior: es una rama terminal del nervio nasociliar que sale de la órbita a través del orificio etmoidal anterior y entra en la cavidad craneal al lado de la lámina cribosa del etmoides. Dentro del cráneo da una rama meníngea y luego abandona el cráneo para entrar a la cavidad nasal. En la cavidad nasal  da ramas para el tabique y la pared lateral de la fosa nasal y en seguida continúa hacia delante y hacia abajo para emerger en el hueso nasal y el cartílago nasal, termina como rama nasal externa que inerva la piel de la mitad inferior de la nariz.
 
   <(A.): Nervus ethmoidalis anterior: dringt in den vorderen Fronto-Ethmoidal-Kanal ein, kommt also oberhalb des gesichteten Blattes an, greift in den Ethmoidalschlitz ein, der ihn in die Nasenhöhle bringt; er endet dort, indem er die Nasenscheidewand bis zum Nasenläppchen innerviert.
 
   <(F.): Nerf ethmoïdal antérieur: pénètre dans le canal fronto-ethmoïdal antérieur, arrive ainsi au-dessus de la lame criblée, s’engage dans la fente ethmoïdale qui l’amène dans la cavité nasale ; il s’y termine en innervant le septum nasal jusqu’au lobule du nez.
 
   <(In.): Anterior ethmoidal nerve: origin, continuation of nasociliary nerve, from ophthalmic nerve; course This nerve is the continuation of the nasociliary nerve which transverses the anterior ethmoidal foramen and canal. The nasociliary nerve itself is a branch of the ophthalmic division of trigeminal nerve. It then enters the cranial cavity running above the cribriform plate of ethmoid in the anterior cranial fossa. It disappears from the cranial fossa by descending through a hole lateral to the crista galli to reach the nasal cavity. There it gives off two internal nasal branches and emerges at the lower border of the nasal bone as the external nasal nerve. It supplies the skin of the nose;  branches, internal, external, lateral, and medial rami; distribution, mucosa of upper and anterior nasal septum, lateral wall of nasal cavity, skin of lower bridge and tip of nose; modality, general sensory.
