NERVIO ETMOIDAL POSTERIOR

 
   Nervus ethmoidalis posterior: rama del nervio nasociliar. Sale de la órbita a través del conducto etmoidal posterior para dar inervación sensorial a los senos etmoidales posteriores y esfenoidal.
   Sinónimos: nervio esfeno etmoidal de Luschka, filete esfenoetmoidal.
 
   <(A.): Nervus ethmoidalis posterior: entspringt kurz vor der Bifurkation des Nervs und innerviert durch den hinteren Stirn-Ethmoidal-Kanal den Sinus sphenoidalis und die hinteren Ethmoidalzellen.
 
   <(F.): Nerf ethmoïdal postérieur: naît peu avant la bifurcation du nerf, et, par le canal fronto-ethmoïdal postérieur, va innerver le sinus sphénoïdal et les cellules ethmoïdales postérieures.
 
   <(In.): Posterior ethmoidal nerve: origin, nasociliary nerve, from ophthalmic nerve; course: this is a branch of the nasociliary nerve which takes its origin from the ophthalmic division of the trigeminal nerve. It enters the posterior ethmoidal foramen, accompanied by posterior ethmoidal artery to supply the posterior ethmoidal and sphenoidal air sinuses; distribution, mucosa of posterior ethmoid cells and of sphenoidal sinus; modality, general sensory. Root: sensory nucleus of trigeminal nerve at floor of fourth ventricle of the pons.
