ONCOCITOMA

 
   Tumor benigno poco frecuente formado por células epiteliales grandes con gránulos intracitoplásmicos eosinófilos (oncitos). Presenta un patrón tubular sólido o trabecular. Se utiliza este nombre para denominar un tipo de adenoma monomórfico de las glándulas salivares.
 
   <(A.): Onkozytom:  ist ein Tumor, der aus Onkozyten, Epithelzellen, besteht, die sich durch eine übermäßige Anzahl von Mitochondrien auszeichnen, was zu einem reichlichen acidophilen, körnigen Zytoplasma führt. Die Zellen und der Tumor, den sie bilden, sind oft gutartig, können aber manchmal prämaligne oder maligne sein.
 
   <(F.): Oncocytome: tumeur habituellement bénigne dont la structure est de nature glandulaire, correspondant à une variété d'adénome.
 
   <(In.): Oncocytoma:  is a tumor made up of oncocytes, epithelial cells characterized by an excessive amount of mitochondria, resulting in an abundant acidophilic, granular cytoplasm. The cells and the tumor that they compose are often benign but sometimes may be premalignant or malignant.
