   Tipo de moléculas formadas por la unión de varios aminoácidos mediante enlaces peptídicos.
 
   <(A.): Peptid: ein Peptid ist eine organische Verbindung, die Peptidbindungen zwischen Aminosäuren enthält und als ein kleines Protein betrachtet werden kann. Dabei sind die einzelnen Aminosäuren in einer definierten Reihenfolge (Sequenz) meist linear zu einer Kette verbunden. Zirkulär angeordnete Peptide werden Cyclopeptide genannt.
