SÍNDROME PARANEOPLÁSICO

 
   Conjunto de manifestaciones de carácter inmunológico o humoral que pueden preceder o acompañar a una neoplasia.
 
   <(A.): Paraneoplastischen Syndrom: auch Paraneoplasie genannt, versteht man Begleitsymptome einer Krebserkrankung, die weder primär durch den Tumor noch durch Metastasen ausgelöst werden, also weder durch den Raumbedarf des Tumors noch durch die Zerstörung von Gewebe durch Einwachsen von Tumorzellen verursacht sind.
 
   <(F.): Syndrome paranéoplasique: ensemble des anomalies pouvant accompagner certains cancers. Ces anomalies ne sont pas en relation directe avec la tumeur, mais sont des manifestations systémiques survenant à distance de l’endroit où se développe le cancer, par production d’une substance par la tumeur.
 
   <(Ing.): Paraneoplastic syndrome: it is a disease or symptom that is the consequence of the presence of cancer in the body, but is not due to the local presence of cancer cells. These phenomena are mediated by humoral factors (by hormones or cytokines) excreted by tumor cells or by an immune response against the tumor.
