Las venas tiroideas superiores acompañan las arterias tiroideas superiores y terminan en el tronco tirolinguofacial o directamente en la yugular interna. Emergen por el polo superior de la glándula. Cada vena asciente hacia arriba y lateralmente a través del músculo omohioideo y la arteria carótida común y entra en la vena yugular interna o en tronco tirolinguofacial.

   <(A): Obere Schilddrüsenvenen: Sie begleiten die oberen Schilddrüsenarterien und münden in den Truncus thyroinguinguofacialis oder direkt in die Vena jugularis interna. Sie entspringen am oberen Pol der Drüse. Jede Vene steigt durch den Musculus omohyoideus und die Arteria carotis communis nach oben und zur Seite und mündet in die Vena jugularis interna oder in den Truncus thyrolinguofacialis.

   <(F): Veines thyroïdiennes supérieures: elles accompagnent les artères thyroïdiennes supérieures et se terminent dans le tronc thyro-inguo-facial ou directement dans la veine jugulaire interne. Elles émergent du pôle supérieur de la glande. Chaque veine monte vers le haut et latéralement à travers le muscle omohyoïdien et l'artère carotide commune et se jette dans la veine jugulaire interne ou dans le tronc thyro-linguo-facial.
