ABSCESO APICAL

  Colección purulenta circunscrita envolviendo los tejidos que circundan a porción apical de un diente.
   Sinónimos: absceso periapical.
 
   <(F.): Abcès apical:  est souvent provoqué par une fracture de la dent, par une carie profonde ou par une dent qui n’a pas été soignée depuis longtemps. Pour ce type d’abcès, les bactéries prolifèrent au niveau des nerfs de la dent.
 
   <(In.): Apical abscess: is the most common form of dental abscess and is caused by infection of the root canal of the tooth. It is usually localized intraorally, but in some cases the apical abscess may spread and result in severe complications or even mortality.
