Orificio situado en la pared externa de la fosa yugular del hueso temporal. Se corresponde con el orificio interno del conducto del ramo auricular del neumogástrico. Desde la fosa yugular se dirige hacia fuera y se abre en la porción descendente del acueducto de Falopio, un poco por encima del agujero estilo-mastoideo. <(A): Ostium introitus: Öffnung, die sich in der Außenwand der Fossa jugularis des Schläfenbeins befindet. Sie entspricht der inneren Mündung des Ductus auricularis des Pneumogastricus. Von der Fossa jugularis aus verläuft er nach außen und mündet etwas oberhalb des Foramen stylo-mastoideum in den absteigenden Teil des Eileiter-Aquädukts.
